UPDATE:
In referencing the remote control: it works with CD disc, USB and for SD Cards. It uses folders. For example you open folder 1, then you select what number you want to play or you can play all that is in the folder, or don't open any of the folders and you can play everything on it. My advice is that when you put whatever you want on your USB or SD card have a list of what was on it by number for your reference. I just play all ours on continuous repeat which can be done using the remote.
It does not have a volume adjust on the remote.
The speakers are not adjustable on the remote or on the stereo. However, the audio works well for us.
It has a jack that you can plug an audio device into it.
This is great to have in case of emergency because you can use batteries. Just make sure you have the batteries ready if your electricity goes out. That happened to us and did not have the batteries, now we do :)
We did a comparison with others at electronic stores and in our opinion this is the best for the price.
We are still very happy with it. It still works great and blessed to have it.
